StatSeed is StatSheet's postseason projections for all of Division I, including the NCAA Tournament, National Invitation Tournament (NIT), College Basketball Invitational (CBI), and the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT). Read more about how StatSeed is calculated.

StatSheet projects Ohio to make the NIT as a four seed. The Bobcats are sitting at #55 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 17-4 overall record and a 5-2 record in the MAC.

During the last four games, Ohio helped itself with wins against Ball State, Western Michigan, Miami (OH), and Kent State.

Ohio has a 3-2 record against the RPI Top 100 but an 0-1 record against the RPI Top 50 and no record against AP ranked teams. While the Bobcats have no quality wins, they're dinged by two bad losses including RPI #188 Bowling Green and RPI #111 Robert Morris.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are NC State (15-7, 4-3 ACC, StatRank #60), Arkansas (15-6, 3-3 SEC, StatRank #50), Oregon (15-5, 6-2 Pac 12, StatRank #63), and Purdue (15-7, 5-4 Big Ten, StatRank #51).

The first four teams out are Colorado (14-7, 6-3 Pac 12, StatRank #73), New Mexico (17-4, 3-2 Mountain West, StatRank #44), Stanford (15-5, 5-3 Pac 12, StatRank #72), and Xavier (14-7, 5-3 A-10, StatRank #49).

The next four out are Brigham Young (18-6, 6-3 West Coast, StatRank #46), Miami (FL) (11-7, 2-3 ACC, StatRank #57), Oklahoma (13-7, 3-5 Big 12, StatRank #68), and Texas (13-8, 3-5 Big 12, StatRank #64).
